- Reconstruction of bridge under full closure.
- 5,000 SFT of temporary PZC18 to remove the existing bridge piers.
- 16,750 SFT of PZ 27 steel sheet piling w/rock tips for new abutment walls.
- Center pier required 6 each galvanized 48″ casings w/drilled shaft and a 54″ x 54″ pier cap.
- Installation of remaining 21 each permanent 48″ casings w/drilled shafts for the abutments.
- Tremie seal in each abutment (400 CYD).
- New abutments (502 CYD), 16 ea. 33″ box beams x 90′ long, wingwalls, deck (400 CYD), railing, approach slabs.
- Excavation, backfill, utility location, and sewer work.
- 600 tons of rip rap.
- Multiple barges required to perform this work.
