  • Reconstruction of Wayne Road Bridge over Tonquish Creek under full closure.
  • Installation of two (2) temporary cofferdams to remove the existing abutments and maintain the river during construction.
  • Installation of two (2) additional cofferdams – 20 pair of NZ-38 x 20′ on Abut A & 23.5 pair of NZ-19 x 20′ on Abut B to control the bank and water control.
  • Installation 94 each 12hp53 h-piles x up to 60’ for the abutments foundations
  • Abutments (459 CYD), 9 ea. concrete 36″ x 49″ bulb T bridge beams x 90′ long, wingwalls, deck (332 CYD), aesthetic parapet railings, approach slabs.
  • 4,750 SYD of 10″ paving with 3,100 tons of 21AA aggregate base
  • Excavation (7,500 yards), backfill (5,500 tons Cl II), storm structures ( 6 ea. 48″), and sewer work.
  • 1,100 tons of rip rap.
  • Project utilized a 230 Ton Manitowoc 888 and a 315 Ton Liebherr crawler cranes.
