OVERVIEW

As a full-service piling contractor, E. C. Korneffel Co. (ECK) is equipped to handle all of your piling needs, including small- to large-sized projects and complex, fast track projects. ECK’s collection of crawler and telecrawler cranes up to 230 tons can drive full-length, one-piece piles up to 125’ without splicing. ECK owns more than twelve (12) fixed piling leads capable of driving one (1) piece piles in excess of 95’ full length. ECK’s fleet of Caterpillar excavators utilize sidegrip vibratory pile hammers that can install piling in low headroom conditions in as little as 20’.

ECK also owners multiple top drive hydraulic units set up in fixed piling leads than can drill Auger Cast Piles (ACIP) up to 36” in diameter.

We have recently updated our drilling fleet to include the following:

Comacchio MC 22 HT tie-back & mini-pile machine
ChemGrout double paddle mixers • TEI rock drill
Oberman chemical/micro-fine cement pump

Our expanded drilling operations allow ECK to install soil nails and manchette tubes for ground improvement projects.

With this diverse range of equipment, ECK is uniquely positioned to complete projects that involve driving/drilling thousands of piles, tie-back installations, and ground improvement projects.

ECK typically drives or drills more than 10,000 foundation piles in one (1) calendar year.
